Bruce Armstrong, M.D.
Dr. Armstrong attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He completed his surgical internship and his residency at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. In addition, Dr. Armstrong served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Army.

Mark A. Yarborough, M.D., F.A.C.S.
A native of Wilmington, North Carolina, Dr. Yarborough graduated from Clemson University in 1979 and the Medical University of South Carolina in 1983. He completed his General Surgery residency requirements at the University of Kentucky’s Albert B. Chandler Medical Center in 1985 and his urology residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham in 1988. A Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he has practiced Urology in Asheville since 1988. [ back to top ] |

Michael C. Staley, M.D.
After completing an MBA, Dr. Michael Staley earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. He served a surgery internship at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont in Burlington. He then served his surgery and urology residencies at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. He was chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Staley is a diplomate (board-certified) of the American Board of Urology . He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina and South Carolina. [ back to top ] |

Ricky L. Bare, M.D.
Dr. Bare attended Wake Forest University and then received his medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency training at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. Dr. Bare remained on the teaching faculty of the Wake Forest University Department of Urology as a member of a Multidisciplinary Urologic Oncology Team before moving to Asheville.
Dr. Bare is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American Collage of Surgeons (FACS).

J.G. Cargill III, M.D.
Dr. Cargill attended the University of Virginia, graduating with degrees in Engineering and Medicine. After two years of general surgery residency training at the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Cargill then completed his urology residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a current Diplomate of the American Board of Urology, certified through 2020. Dr. Cargill’s special interests in urology are female pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence, kidney stones, BPH and prostate cancer.
